Explore the world of Patrick O’Brian, a famous
novelist whose works were unified by the common thread of Baroque music. O’Brian is best known for his twenty novels featuring Captain Jack Aubrey and Dr. Stephen Maturin and their exploits throughout the Napoleonic Wars and beyond. The 2002 major motion picture Master and Commander was a compilation of these novels. Enjoy this beautiful program featuring Mozart, Bach, Mendelssohn, Corelli and more.
